Erica Silver, a single mom struggling to make ends meet while providing for her 12 month old baby and earning a degree in Psychology, suddenly finds herself face to face with Tito Makris, a Greek tycoon on a mission to find the last male heir of the Frangos family. A promise he made to his late best friend Yannis Frangos has him investigating Erica and her unsavory means of making a living.

He suggests a proposal that will help both Erica and her son Nick have a better future but the price is too high. A marriage of convenience is something that neither of them planned but it is the only way for Erica to be with her child as he is brought up in the traditional Greek ways of his late father's family. And a means to an end for Tito who's mother is adamant about setting him up with a typical Greek society wife. As expected complications arise as well as feelings that neither of them expected.
