We've known Cash since book 1. He is the charming cowboy that just won't settle down. We met Emma Frank towards the end of book 2 when her abusive, drunk on an ex-husband attempted to shoot her and ended up in jail. Book 3 is all about Cash and Emma. And what better man than Cash to be the one for Emma. After being battered and broken for years she needs the gentle charm and kindness of exactly such a man.
