Simon Dunn is an undercover arms dealer, an old hand at the espionage game and he is looking to get out. One last assignment throws him together with rookie field agent Cassie Watson, a robotics expert who has spend her entire career in front of a computer screen. The assignment is a dangerous one, involving the infiltration of an enemy camp and Cassie has zero knowledge of the dangers she faces in the field and from Simon. Which puts Simon in a very difficult position.

Determined to close up shop after this assignment Simon attempts to groom Cassie. But when unexpected betrayal catches them unawares, an unlikely ally in the form of a rival may not be enough to save them, from losing their lives or their hearts to each other.
