Pink Lies

Pink Lies - Haley Kitts I'm not a big fan of books that are in the first person unless it is in a dual perspective. I tend to find them a bit monotonous, the character rambling on and on about their life. Initially, I felt the same about Pink Lies. The Charleston half of Scarlett Hanes' life kept me wondering when this story would take off. But once "the call" comes in that's where the fun begins. Everything that happens after is a bucket of giggles and snorts because I felt that Scarlett was a tad silly when it came to men. But she's good at her job and that is her biggest asset. In spite of her silliness with all the friends she makes, she is one lucky girl to escape by the skin of her teeth and bag the guy as well.
