I won an ARC from LibraryThing Member Giveaways in exchange for an honest review.This book picks up 20 years after Aidan and Phoebe's story. This is the story of Charlotte who was a toddler in the Echo Falls. Her journey to finding her place and purpose as a purebred werewolves amongst the pack of Echo Falls. Stronger and more skilled than the others she feels alone and misunderstood, her past haunting her her present and her future unclear. Her quest for answers lead to more questions and danger shadows them.
Once again I felt that there was too much repetition, but Jamie McDougall has a certain style to her writing, where she hints to certain aspects of the story but doesn't completely reveal those secrets, building up the suspense factor. I guess as a reader it made me impatient to get on with the story, but then I must respect the author's own style/
