This book is the second installment in the Purgatory series. I have read a few of Cynthia Eden's books, and I am beginning to see a pattern. Not that the stories are boring but more like they are becoming predictable. The same goes for the Purgatory series. She seems to stick to a "formula" right down to pet dialogues or words being used repeatedly through out the series.

If you can ignore this formula based writing, the book itself is quite entertaining. We get to see deeper into the elusive Shane's life and a new supernatural character is introduced in the form of Olivia who is only just figuring out who or what she is.

A 3.5 rating for this book and definitely recommended for those who like supernatural romances.
