Oh my goodness this story has taken such a twisted turn. That Starfell prophecy was such a bomb blast. I'm still trying to decipher part of it. Conn and Valla are too cute for words. And after seeing Conn in all those impish roles in the Nightwing books it is quite funny to see him realise that he too can burn with soulfire. Past and present colliding and old monsters heralding new ones. Supposed enemies turn into allies and friends. I'm so curious about plot developments concerning Bastien and Kera and if I'm not mistaken is something brewing between Bowen and Lyla? I don't know why I want to see them together but I do. Oh God when is the next book coming out. I can't take this for too long.

OMG! OMG! OMG! Please don't let this ending be true I don't think I could take it. Arrrgh, 2o17 is too far away. The suspense is going to kill me before that. What a mother of a cliff hanger! Emigh how can you do this to us?

Okay now that I've got my rant out of the way I can get on with the review. The third book may feel that it drags a tiny bit but that is because it is building up to the INCREDULOUS CLIMAX at the end. You will discover a lot more about Finn's past and Talvi's tryst with Zenzi. What was also surprising is that you see the opposite of what you expect from Finn and Talvi's behaviour. This role reversal was a source of great irritation for me on Finn's part because I just could not grasp how he could become this person and shocking because you expect Talvi to react badly but he is unexpectedly forgiving and understanding. I'm not giving away any spoilers but this particular installment will leave you wide eyed and open mouthed till the end. I'm still picking my jaw up off the floor.

This book explores much more of the dynamic between Talvi and Annika's relationship. There is much angst, frustration, tears, romance and hormones (no spoilers) in this installment. And what a hornet's nest has been stirred up. Finn's role was, OMG what the hell! Learning a lot more about Talvi, he becomes the guy you'd love to hate but can't because he's surprisingly profound and romantic at the most unexpected of times. You cannot help but sympathizing with Finn because he just seems like such a sacrificial lamb. But I think this particular event (again I'm not giving you no spoilers!) might just be the straw that breaks the camel's back, because Finn's words as Talvi and Annika are departing are just too sinister for the Finn that we've come to know and love. Not too much about Yuri and Konstantin but considering the closing chapters show a trip to Prague, something is definitely up and they're involved.

Wow! what an adventure this book is. Currently available as a free download, this book is not to be missed. It has been a long time since I've been on such an adventure. I enjoyed The Flame and the Arrow immensely.

Elves, Druids, Fairies, Wood Nymphs, Vampires and of course humans all mixed up with plenty of iffy portals, action, tragedy and loads of romance. The characters are not perfect. Each have their quirks and weaknesses, painting the story in much more realistic hues than most fantasy books. I don't want to give anything away about the story because it must be read to be experienced but I will say that it is about Annika, a girl who never really fit too well in her world, discovering that she has a place in a whole other dimension to fit into and a much bigger role to play.

It is a bit of a long book but I still kept dreading that I would reach the end too soon. I think I'm going through withdrawal symptoms because I am itching to get my hands on the next in the series. I am now officially a fan.

So this book was an OK read. A little on the sweet side, I felt it could have been a little more meatier, more in-depth story wise. It sure has the potential to be much better than at present but still good enough for a little light romance reading

Raze is an excellent soldier but he's keeping secrets. And Vinnie has everything to do with those secrets. There's something between them but Raze cannot cross the line or his secret mission would be jeopardized. Vinnie was the FBI’s best profiler and she is discovering secrets of her own. The combination of Scorpius and mind altering drugs have done something to her and that puts her in even more danger. Or is she the dangerous one? She knows Raze is up to something, that he's got a plan for her but she can't stay away. Neither can he for that matter and the conflict of interest is just too much to bear. She is his weakness and he has too much to lose. Coming clean to Jax might save his life but it may just be the death of him.

Life in post apocalyptic L.A couldn't get tougher than this as multiple issues arise and the safe haven that is their home gets caught in the crossfire.

OMG THIS BOOK! It's full of angst and contradicting emotions, romance and supposed betrayal. These 2 have to be the best couple in the series so far. Noelle Rana is the exotic beauty from Aiden Kent's past. She is also the sister and daughter of the 2 men he hates the most in the world. Men he would do anything to destroy if he got his hands on them. He wants nothing to do with the Ranas especially Noelle. Helping Noelle is the last thing he wants to do. Because she is just as good as betrayal as her father and brother. Or so he thinks. But a promise made to his dying mother forces him to re-evaluate that decision. A deep-rooted sense of decency and honor binds him and he lets her into his life and home. Of course the spark that was once there is now a raging inferno. There has never been anyone else like Noelle.

For Noelle no one has ever measured up to Aiden. He was her first love. But to him she always felt she was disposable. Rejected and abandoned by him once she finally musters up the courage to push him to fulfill his promise. She needs a fresh start and he is the only one who can help her get back on her feet. As they rediscover their passion for each other, Aiden soon realises that she was as much an innocent bystander and victim as he was in the twisted games her family played. But he needs to let go of the past and his preconceived ideas about her if he truly wants any kind of a future with Noelle.

Aboard the Imojenna life is all hearts and rainbows... for Tannin and Zahili that is. For Rian, it is pure torture. Ella, for one is getting under his skin and that is way too close for comfort. The other his two closest friends are in danger. One of them may already have been compromised and fallen victim to to the silent alien invasion.

Captain Admiral Zander Graydon is pissed...big time. Somebody wants him out of the picture and all suspicions fall on his new assistant. Lieutenant Marshal Mae Petros has secrets that are not hers to tell. She needs to determine if Zander is really who he says he is and keep him safe until she can get him to Rian Sherron. So expect a Nirali sized shipful of action, adventure and intrigue.

This series just get better with each installment. Oh man do I hope this series gets picked up by a television network. It would make such a rocking tv show. @SyFy where are you?

So this short book was an unexpectedly sweet story. Elijah Hays is the misunderstood gentle giant. Dogged and despised for his dark past, he faces much prejudice by his ignorant peers who have never bothered to get to know him. Abigail is the "worldly" woman in this equation. And she brings out the part of him that he has never dared or hoped to explore. This story is in no way virginal. In fact it is quite steamy but in a very exploratory and developmental way. It's nice to see a role reversal for once.

Set in cowboy country, Breaking Him is a departure from the city slickers, mechanics and forced criminals. I didn't know what to expect when I began this book because everything else I've read from Sherilee Gray has been about bad boys and kick-ass girls. But I was not disappointed. She always writes her female characters as strong, independant women and the same goes for Abigail. If you want a short but romantic book with an aww gosh! HEA Breaking Him is the book for you. Two thumbs up for Breaking Him.

At first I was a little wary of getting this book but fans of Firefly and Serenity! this is the series for you. Any one who has ever craved for more of this space Western drama television series + movie will LOVE Atrophy. Rogue space bad boys, ass kicking women, mysterious and evolved beings and of course let's not forget shape shifting aliens. Everything your heart desires in an awesome series by Jess Anastasi. So buckle down for this adventure, because it is going to blow your socks off.

Tannin and Zahli are the perfect couple, so in sync with each other and OMG the circumstance under which the come together is crazy. But when destiny calls you better answer because then you'd just miss out on all the fun. I'm so curious about how Rian is going to end up. So many interesting characters. I hope Ms Anastasi can churn out the books as fast as I can read them because boy, am I hooked! Whoa what a trip.

We know a bit about Leah Hamilton's backstory from "Claimed by the Warrior" since it did end with her going to jail. Now we discover why and with whom she goes to jail. Seth Halcott is her brother Jed's best friend. Jed has been trying to keep his distance from Leah ever since he met her. She makes him have dangerous dreams... of a future together and she does not deserve someone like him. She deserves better... more. Unfortunately the miscreant in this book has specifically targeted Jed and has roped those nearest and dearest to him into his web of deceit. Jed has no choice but to pursue him and keep Leah safe, especially when the guy he is after is a ghost from his dark past and is now blatantly taunting him to pursue him.

I LOVED THIS BOOK. Who would think that Travis would have turned out to be such an evolved man. So honest and patient and understanding. Just the guy for Luna. Of course in spite of being so evolved as individuals, there has to some kind of drama or then this book would have been boring. ANd it comes in the form of trust issues and the inability to simply say no, stop! Oh well nobody's perfect but thank God for that. Because it is that very imperfection that is the spice of life and the ability to overcome those obstacles we put up ourselves is the ultimate reward.

Like the 2 books before Cam and Elle's story is just as endearing. Each of the Archangels before had their own unique reasons for falling. Cam never even contemplated it until he was forced to see Eleanor as someone other than his secretary. Armoros though is turning out to be one crafty demon spawn, coming up with ever more creative ways to return to the human realm. I'm now really curious to know its end game. And Gabriel's situation is heartbreaking as ever. I am really looking forward to that arc of the series. I wonder who's next, definitely intrigued about what's going to be Mike's story. Would also like to see more pf the other clans. What would happen if 2 angles got together? Hmmmmm......
